HOTD: Bottom pair all-in

I'm not proud of this play, but I can rationalize it.

My opponent and I had been going back and forth with lots of reraised pots preflop. In this hand, I 4-bet preflop with A3o, which was obviously a bit light. It was meant to win the pot preflop or on the flop, since the villain had been giving up to my continuation bets 70 percent of the time (although that number shrunk as the match progressed. Do you see why?)

Then when he check-raised me all in on the flop, I thought it most likely that he had some kind of draw with an overcard. I believed my one-pair hand had about 50 percent equity against my opponent's range because I was about 100 percent sure he would have shoved AA-QQ or AK preflop.

Given my (incorrect) read, I couldn't fold bottom pair getting about 3:1.
